Islamic Women Declared Un-Islamic By Islamic Council: Mere Existance Contradicts Will of Allah

This story comes from Pakistan Today and if I didn’t know Islam to be what it is, I wouldn’t believe it. Maybe this is the Pakistani version of The Onion. CORRECTION AND EDIT: Yes, it is apparently NOT TRUE. I saw it on several reputable websites. My apologies. I’ll leave it here for your amusement, because I have no doubt that if some “Islamic Council” could do this, they would do this. Note that the photo, as I orginially said, is unrelated, but it is still a photo. IT IS NOT TRUE. MY APOLOGIES (minus the photo and the comment under it): The story about child marriages, about half way down, links to “The Express Tribune with the International New York Times.” This is the story of Marvi Memon and child marriages, . I believe this is true. Chairman Maulana Muhammad Khan Shirani is involved in both stories. He believes Pakistan’s laws “restricting” child marriage are unIslamic. AGAIN: My apologies.

The supposed caption is "Muslim Girls in Chains Being Led to Marry." I haven't found the original source of the photo. I'm crediting it to IsraPundit as that's where I found it first. If the girls are being led to marry, THEY ARE CHAINED AND SHROUDED.

The supposed-caption is “Muslim Girls in Chains Being Led to Marry.” I haven’t found the original source of the photo, nor do I know the country of origin. I’m crediting it to The Patriot, as that seems to be the earliest dated report

If the young girls in the photo above are not being led in chains to marry, they ARE BEING LED IN CHAINS. Note the difference in size between the ‘chained’ and the big sisters on each side. I wonder if those two have the slightest ache in their heart for these little ones? I wonder if they go on an auction block?

Islamabad – Sharia Correspondent: The Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) concluded their 192nd meeting on Thursday [convened on March 10, 2014] with the ruling that women are un-Islamic and that their mere existence contradicted Sharia and the will of Allah. As the meeting concluded CII Chairman Maulana Muhammad Khan Shirani noted that women by existing defied the laws of nature, and to protect Islam and the Sharia women should be forced to stop existing as soon as possible. The announcement comes a couple of days after CII’s 191st meeting where they dubbed laws related to minimum marriage age to be un-Islamic.

The above is eerily similar to what Elliot Rodger, the Isla Vista, California shooter said in his manifesto. See the manifesto ‘cliff notes’ here.

After declaring women to be un-Islamic, Shirani explained that there were actually two kinds of women – haraam and makrooh. “We can divide all women in the world into two distinct categories: those who are haraam and those who are makrooh. Now the difference between haraam and makrooh is that the former is categorically forbidden while the latter is really really disliked,” Shirani said.

He further went on to explain how the women around the world can ensure that they get promoted to being makrooh, from just being downright haraam. “Any woman that exercises her will is haraam, absolutely haraam, and is conspiring against Islam and the Ummah, whereas those women who are totally subservient can reach the status of being makrooh. Such is the generosity of our ideology and such is the endeavour of Muslim men like us who are the true torchbearers of gender equality,” the CII chairman added. Read more here, March 15, 2014.

The meeting also affirmed that once puberty is reached, a girl is ready to marry and it is “un-Islamic” to see it any other way. Chairman Maulana Muhammad

Maulana Muhammad Khan Shirani

Maulana Muhammad Khan Shirani

Khan Shirani quoted Article 2, 7 and 227 of Pakistan’s Constitution, along with verses from the Koran and Hadith saying that when a girl attains puberty, [life as a girl is over for her] the sick fun for Muslim men may begin. Pakistan adopted the Child Marriage Restraint Act of 1929, which says that a male under 18 and a female under 16 cannot be married-off. A “minor” means a person of either sex who is under 18 years of age. If a male older than 18 marries a “child, he can go to prison for one month and/or be fined “one thousand rupees.” Not much “restraint” in that law.

If a parent contracts their ineligible-by-law child to marriage, the parent or guardian may also be jailed for one month and/or fined one thousand rupees.” There are other indiscernable provisions — eyes glazing over. It appears the “Restraint” of marrying a young girl is a joke. Read it here.

Marvi Memon

Marvi Memon

Marvi Memon is a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan. She introduced legislation, along with others, attempting to amend the Council of Islamic Ideology’s (CII) “Act.”  She is an attorney and the daughter of a prominent politician, educator and businessman. From what I read in the “Restraint” Act, there is no “restraint” and she and others are fighting a losing battle, but at least they are doing something. Feminists and Liberals in the U.S. could at least speak about it, as conservatives, both men and women do, but they remain silent, including Barack and Michelle Obama who both think Islam is just swell.

The Patriot (Britain):

Notice the contrast in views between the Creator of the Universe revealed in Genesis and Allah. Our Creator created Adam as male and female. He took one side of His creation, Adam, and formed the first woman by His own Will. This is in sharp contrast to Allah – the existence of women is against the will of Allah. Amazingly enough, there are some who attempt to claim that Allah is the same as the Creator that is expressed in Torah – even though the 2 are in sharp disagreement on so many points.

This type of emotional suffering around the world is incomprehensible, especially for women and children (although boys are routinely abused) — and none of it is the fault of the United States of America.
